Liquid Candy

Good afternoon!

I actually said afternoon! This is one of my few blog posts that aren't typed up at 2 in the morning.

Today I'm sharing swatches from a new indie polish maker named "Liquid Candy".

Liquid Candy are 5 free, made to order polishes. They are known for their bright, fun polishes!

Let's get into the swatches!

First I'm going to share swatches from the Stardust Trio. This is "Nova" a gorgeous dusty blue medium holo polish. I love love love the color of the polish and the formula is more a creme. Which I love!

Application:
Nova was extremely smooth and even when applying. There is no need to self level since it goes on so evenly. I did purposely make streaks on one nail to see how it leveled out & it leveled perfectly! Dries really quickly and extremely shiny.
When I say shiny I mean like gel polish shine. I wasn't expecting it but I love it!
Pictures above is 2 thin coats (very close to being one coat), no topcoat. That is the natural shine *heart eyes*.
Next up from the trio is "Bubblegum Skies". A gorgeous dusty bubble gum holo (medium) polish. This formula was the same creme styled polish. This one was surprisingly much more opaque in 1 coat than the blue tho!

Application:
Bubblegum Skies was very smooth and flawless like the other. No streaks and even application. This polish also has the ability to self level if you really need it too. Dried really fast & that same extreme shine finish.
Pictured is 2 thin coats, no topcoat.
Last up from the Stardust Trio is "Black Vortex". This is a jelly/creme black polish with medium linear holo & small light pink (also described as scarlet) glitters throughout.

Application:
Black Vortex application was just like the others from this trio. Very smooth, even, and can self level if needed. No streaks and dried fast plus extremely shiny.
Pictured is 2 thin coats, no topcoat.
This beauty right here I have fallen in love with. No joke I didn't want to take her off! I even painted my toes this color. This polish is "Watermelon Comet" a stunning,  bright salmon pink creme.
Not only is has this stolen my heart but this is my first creme polish. Yes I have MANY cremes put they all have holo finish or flakies. Something in them that makes them not just a creme polish.
Watermelon Comet is just a creme polish but glows in the dark!! ( I didn't take a picture in the dark-sorry.)

Application:
This applies just as beautiful as it looks. Went on extremely smooth, even, no streaks. Has the ability to self level if really needed. Dried fairly quick & high shine finish. Just perfection!! Everyone needs this polish in their life. ❤️ I know I didn't take a picture in the dark but I do know that this glows very bright in the dark!
Pictured is 2 thin coats, no topcoat.
Next up is "Raygun". This is a bright shimmery yellow polish. Just like the last one this polish glows bright in the dark.
To be honest, I was very nervous putting this on my nails since it is a yellow polish also because this was my first trying this brand! I didn't want it to stain my nails but I'm very happy to say it DID NOT stain!

Application:
Raygun was a little creamy but not a creme polish buts it's not a regular polish either. This fits somewhere in the middle between the two. Raygun was still very smooth, silky, even, & no streaks when applying. Dried pretty quick and high shine. Pictured is 2 thin coats, no topcoat.
Last up with the swatches I have "Sugar Rush". A bright bubblegum pink, creme/crelly (I'm pretty sure this is a crelly) polish. This has small white circles and those white longer pieces. I'm not sure what they are called.

Application:
Sugar Rush was very creamy, smooth & even, and no streaks when applying. Has the ability to self level if needed. Dried fast and a high shine finish.
My only problem was I could get the glitters to "unsettle" from the bottom. I shook it (didn't budge) and I tried the 10-15 minute upside down in a shot glass method. Neither of those methods worked so I actually just stuck a toothpick in the bottle & swirled around a few times. After I did that it worked completely fine!
Pictured is 2 coats, no topcoat.

Well that is all for these swatches! 😘 I enjoyed all the polishes. My favorite being the Watermelon Comet.

I have a few nail art designs with some of these polishes on my Instagram already. :)

Azature

Good morning,
Once again I am typing up a blog post at 2 in the morning. Luckily this blog post is just 2 polishes and super short!

Today I'll be sharing swatches from a brand named "Azature". I got these polishes for swatching several months ago but now that I'm a lot better at pictures I thought I would redo my swatches. Thoughtful of me, right? Lol.

Some info about Azature:
-Only nail polish brand infused with real black diamonds
-Vegan, 8 free, and cruelty free
-PETA Certified
-On the back of every bottle is a little saying from Azature with what inspired the polish. (I love this feature!)

Let's get into the swatches!

First up is "Azature Champagne". I love this color because it's perfect for all year round. It also brightens up my skin which I find flattering.
This is a clear based polishes filled with gold and tangerine colored glitters.
Pictured is 3 thin flawless coats, plus topcoat. You could sponge on the glitter for max glitter opacity but I chose not too for these swatches. Dries really quick and a little textured. That's kind of expected sometimes with glitter polishes but nothing topcoat can't fix.

Saying on the back: "this shade is inspired by the sparkle of champagne diamonds. Subtle yet distinct, the gems are as celebratory as a glass of bubbly."
Next up is "Azature Blue". A gorgeous blue creme base filled with I think is holo shimmer. (That's what it looks like)
Went on extremely smooth & even. Dried fairly quick and textured like the other. Topcoat once again fixes that :)

Azature blue is perfect for any time of the year or a night out.

Saying on the back: "This shade is inspired by the blue diamond’s intensely hued shade, which symbolizes balance and inner strength."

Overall I recommend everyone to try out at least 1 bottle of Azature polish! They are absolute eye catchers and so lovely! They have other colors without glitter that are cremes- also beautiful!

Elevation Polish- Space Collection

Good morning,

I'm finally settled in my new house! Well for the most part. Still have some unpacking to do.

I sat for 5 hours straight with a Dr Pepper plus a few water bottles to complete these swatches/photos so I could post them. Plus 2 hours to watermark all photos and type this long blog post. Well today I'm going to be sharing the Space Collection from Elevation Polish. :)

This collection consists of 6 polishes: cremes, jelly style cremes and 1 thermal. I will be posting full pictures then macros of each. Some have 2 macros and some only have one. My macros could of been more up close and personal but I wanted to include the nail polish bottle.
I absolutely love the colors in the collection and am very pleased with ALL the formulas. The polishes were all 1-2 polishes. I didn't have to apply 3 coats to any which makes me happy!

Let's get into it this collection!😊
First up is "The Dandelion Cluster". This polish is a dark brown/black color with a creme style base. Has a gold/bronze/green shifting shimmer-also hints of orange in the shift. On top of this shifting shimmer there is also a soft linear holo to the polish.
"The Dandelion Cluster" is such a unique polish and I love that about it!

Application: 1 word: AMAZING!
There was NO streaks when I applied this. It won't on smooth, even, and flawless. This polish even dried really fast too. I used 2 thin coats (plus 1 thin coat of INM Out the Door Topcoat) but you could maybe get away with 1 thicker coat of polish plus add topcoat.
Here is a macro of "The Dandelion Cluster". The picture of the left is no flash and the picture on the right is with flash.
Next up is "Lagoon Nebula" a gorgeous teal/ "lagoon" color. This is another cream style base but thicker than the last polish.  In this polish there is a shifting shimmer that shifts between blue & violet/red color. Along with the shifting shimmer there is a soft linear holo to the polish.

Application: Once again- AMAZING! I love Elevation Polishes formulas. They are always flawless and so smooth. I experienced NO streaks upon application. This polish goes on even and really has no need to self level since it's so smooth. I used 2 thin coats, plus INM Topcoat. Honestly, if I didn't use "yellow stopper" as a base (it brightens nails so it brought out my natural free edge) then I wouldn't have had a need to use 2 coats.
Here are the macros of "Lagoon Nebula". Picture on the left has NO flash. Picture on the right has flash on.
Next up is "Space Raspberries & Rum". A darker raspberry color in a jelly/creme type of base. This polish is filled with holo flakies, very soft gold shimmer and a medium linear holo to it.

Application: Another amazing one! I experienced no steaks during application. This went on very smooth, even, and flawless. Dried fairly quick too. I used 2 thin coats plus INM Out the Door Topcoat.
Here are the macros for "Space Raspberries & Rum". Picture on the left is no flash. Picture on the right is with flash.
Next up is "Galactic Cannibalism". A navy  blue jelly/creme style polish. This one was more opaque that the last jelly/creme (Space Raspberries & Rum). In this polish there is holo flakies & holo shimmer.

Application: I feel like I repeat myself when it comes to Elevation Polish because they never disappoint me with their polishes & formulas. Again another outstanding polish/formula. No streaks upon applying, very smooth & even. No need for self level since it goes on so nicely. Dried pretty quick. This was opaque in 2 thin coats. I also added INM Out the Door Topcoat.
Here's a macro of "Galatic Cannibalism. This was taken with NO flash.
Next up is "Camelopardalis". A taupe/ "mushroom" creme polish. This polish is filled with different colors of chrome flakies (also called "ultra chrome") and has a medium linear holo to it.

Application: you guessed it- AMAZING! I experienced no streaks upon applyin. Nothing but smooth, even, flawless coats. No need for self level since it applies so nice. Dried fast between coats. I used 2 thin coats, plus INM Out the Door Topcoat.
Here's the macro for "Camelopardalis". There was no flash used for this picture.
Lastly is "Limited Edition: Ground Control to Major Yeti" a gorgeous thermal. This thermal is filled with the same ultra chrome shimmer/flakies that is in "Camelopardalis". Pictured is cold temperature which is a dark gray/charcoal color.

Application: You already know. AMAZING, FABULOUS, OUTSTANDING, FLAWLESS you name it. Lmao. No streaks when applying, smooth, even, no need for self leveling but could if needed. This thermal was in my opinion a little thick so maybe a creme style base.
I used 2 thin coats, no topcoat. Has a satin finish and dried really quick.
Here is "Limited Edition: Ground Control to Major Yeti" is a hot state. When it's under hot water it turns to a little gray. This light grey really bring out the ultra chrome flakies which I love!
Macros of "Limited Edition: Ground Control to Major Yeti". Picture of the left is cold. Picture of the right is hot.

That is all for this collection! Overall I love all the colors and formulas. They were all creamy and opaque within 2 coats.

I definitely would recommend heading over to Elevation Polish and checking out all their polishes and colors. You wont be disappointed. ;)

Deco Miami

Hello loves,

Let's not speak of the fact that it's 2 in the morning and I'm uploading to the blog. Lmao!

I'm trying to cut down on photos on my Instagram so I'm going to post these pictures/reviews from Deco Miami.

I did them 5 weeks ago so photos are no where near as good as my pictures are now. So please ignore the quality.

The reviews are 100% honest and my complete opinion as always. I always give my thoughts no matter if it's good or bad. I do because if you give your opinion I believe it helps the person fix the problem.

First up I have 3 swatches to post for @deco.miami. This is "Not Your Fortune Teller". A gorgeous eggplant purple that I fell in love with the moment I saw it! 😍 If you know me, you know I'm a HUGE @lsu fan. I used some #gameday nail stickers and it went perfect, UNTIL I added topcoat.😐  The topcoat made the sticker rise up from the nail and now has ridges. Not cute! Next time I'll had topcoat before the sticker.
Anyway, back to the polish. When I first applied one coat I was very skeptical about this formula because it was a little sheer and I'm not the kind of person to goop on polish or do more than 2 coats. I was VERY surprised that when I did a second coat the color pulled through perfectly! The formula is creamy and smooth but turns out with a poppin color. Pictured is 2 thin coats, topped with Duel Coat (base & topcoat in one) also by @deco.miami
Next up is "Don't Call Me Babygirl" from @deco.miami. I feel like the crown goes with the level of sass the name gives off. 😂👑 Okay, here is a gorgeous baby pink and one of my favorite color nail polishes ever! Am I the only one who loves this color but the formulas are ALWAYS patchy, no matter what brand it is?! Someone explain why that is. This unfortunately kinda leans in that category and it's so disappointing. It took me 2 slightly thicker coats to achieve this opaqueness. Overall besides the kinda patchy formula this works if you apply thick coats. I'm NOT that kind of person to do so, so sadly this polish doesn't work for Me. *Sad face* Very depressing because I was looking forward to this polish the most!
GOOD news, maybe? is that this polish works rather well if your just doing nail art with it instead of painting your nails a solid color. Pictured is 2 thicker coats, topped with Duel coat (base& topcoat) also by @deco.miami
Last up from @deco.miami is "Champagne Mami". A beautiful rose gold metallic polish! It even matches my rose gold Iphone 😍 I love everything about this polish. Only thing I hate about metallic of ANY brand is clean up. The shimmer in them in darn near impossible to get off your skin 9 times out of 10. Lol. Pictured is 1 coat, topped with Duel Coat also by @deco.miami

I would like to note that @deco.miami lacquers are 8 free, vegan, cruelty free and have some sassy/hilarious names too them. I love it! The one that makes me laugh the most is "Miley What's Good"

Once again all reviews are my 100% honest opinion!
